The Dreamin' is Easy...

It's the living part that can be tricky. How is it that, despite instinctively knowing the rules of the game, it is so easy to get off track? Could it be that we sometimes doubt our own supernatural magnificence and forget that anything we ever wanted is within our reach. Truly, life is but a dream - merrily, merrily, merrily.

Inherent Grace

Someone recently asked me why I paint mermaids. As simple a question as it may seem, it took me by surprise. I never really thought of why before. Despite the fact that I didn't even know this person asking the question, he deserved an answer (or more appropriately, I deserved to figure out the answer for myself). Potential reasons rolled around in my head for a few moments before I confided my reason to this interrogator. I paint mermaids because of their inherent grace and beauty.
